50,000 Hits in a day...

New to using the gallery (which is awesome) and have a question. I received a webreport for my site and it showed I got 50,000 hits in a single day and the domain name was not known. Am I at risk of being spammed or hacked on this? I am a little concerned. |

if you have the latest version (G2.3) and don't allow for guest comments and guest uploads, you should be fine.
perhaps when you added gallery the webreport counts FTP traffic when you installed it?
