Matrix / How to have a description for each album ?

Hello,

I have a website with Gallery2 and the Matrix theme (www.coloriagesAgogo.net)

On the first page, I have different mains albums likes "holidays, Christmas, sports" with subalbums.

I would like to add and customize each main album with a description, images, informations

It's likely to have a album.tpl for each main album :D

For example for the main album "Christmas", when I clic on I have the page with all subalbums
and I would like to add a beautiful description with an image...

How I can do ?

Allow Full HTML as markup in Gallery configuration, then put all the personalisation you like in the album description.

site admin-> general section, Embedded Markup change the html, save

Ok, I found the option :D

When I add a description in the album, there is a new <meta name="description" content="some contents" />
but not a new section displaying on the page...

yes it's a question :D sorry !

My goal is to have a HTML description for each album : a Christmas father with red background for the Christmas album for example.

Now I add this option to enable Full HTML in description album but the only effect is this tag : <meta name="description" content="some contents" />
Nothing is displaying on the page, just a meta tag added !

How can I customize album ?

my goal is not to add a <meta> tag but to add a specific customization for each album

In your example, if you add a new album "animals", can you add a description like "a dog image wiht..."

How you did it ?

My goal is to customize more each album... is it possible to have a red background for the christmas album
and a red background for the animals album ?

Edit album -> general tab. you can change the title, description, summary etc.

Yes, you need to create a colorpack that has the red background. Then you can assign a different colorpack to each album Edit album, theme tab.
