WPG2 gallery page links to gallery, not embedded wp

I realize this is not the appropriate place to post this, but I couldn't find a link to make a new post on the WPG2 3.0 support page. Feel free to point me to the proper place. I have installed the latest versions of WordPress 2.6.3, Gallery 2.3, and WPG2 3.0.7. At the moment, I have Wordpress installed at root and gallery2 installed at /gallery/. Both function correctly. The situation is that on the WP embed page, ex http://192.168.1.10:888/portfolio/sculptures, I insert all the thumbnails from a particular gallery with WPG2 tag, but the links on the thumbnails have links like http://192.168.1.10:888/galleries?g2_itemId=61. That link goes to the standalone (/gallery/) app, not the WP embed style. The headers are different, so it's easy to tell. My question is, is this normal behavior? And can I point the links to stay on the WP side of things. I have spent days trying to accomplish this. thanks in advance. |

The only time a link should point to Gallery2 is when linking to a FullSized image. In the WPG2 tags do you have the fullsize option turned on..

This was complete user error. I had failed to check the 'gallery2 should look like wordpress checkbox' in the wpg2 plugin. Once I did that everything fell right into place.
