Gallery2 Rewrite Plugin deactivates itself after a while

Hi,

I've been using WPG2 for a while now and I love it but I experience a stange issue.

On the 'WPG2:Galllery2Rewrites:Gallery2 Rewrite Plugin' page in WP config, once in a while the setting is set to 'rewrite_disabled' in stead of 'rewrite_active'. Not by me and I am the only administrator.

So its seems that it set itself to disabled. Can anyone tell me what can cause this and how to prevent that this will keep happening. (it breaks the links on my site)

I am using the following configuration:

Gallery 2.2.1
Wordpress 2.6.5
WPG2 3.0.7
URL Rewrite plugin 1.1.13

All checks are green.
.htaccess is writable

When it happens all I need to do is set it back to 'rewrite_active', 'save changes' and it works again, for a while.

Please help me.

Guys, today it happened again. Any suggestions?

In gallery 2 and on the WPG2 settings page URL rewites has been disabled (by itself). Is there a check that is triggered and which can diable the URL rewrite by itself? Are is something else wrong?

Did you find a fix for this? It's happening to me with the imageblock plugin...

EDIT: I should probably qualify that I'm not using the WP integration, but that Gallery2 is integrated into my site

No still no fix, wHat I did for now is I made the .htacces read only and this seems to fix it but for me that is not a real fix.
