Gallery 3 Development

Hi Administrator,
I am developing a module using gallery 2.3 module development framework. Can anybody tell me, whether my module for gallery 2.3 will get affect in upcoming version of gallery 3? or it will be automatically upgraded with Gallery 3. If anything needs to be changed for G3(Gallery 3) development. Please let me know.

Gallery 3 is a complete rewrite with a different philosophy so none of the G2 modules will work with G3. Join the -devel mailing list. That's where all the G3 talk is going on.
