Two Domains, Two Themes, One Gallery Install -- Is This Possible?

I am using Gallery V. 1 on a domain for Virginia, on the same server, I am making a separate domain for a site for North Carolina. Everything on the two sites are the same, except the logo, which changes for each state. I have limited space, and don't want two installs of Gallery.

Is there a way to have two each domain on the same server call in a different theme but use the same image gallery?

Thanks for the help. Please be kind if I have made a mistake or am not clear about something.

Hello Melvin,

so you want to share the CODE? or the IMAGES? or both?

1) Code only
If you just want to share the code, but not the images, then this is not possible with Gallery 1.x, G2 supports this

2.) Only Images
Thats possible

3.) Code and Images
This is somewhat tricky and you would need to hack your Gallery

Thanks for the quick reply Jens.

I only want to share the images in Gallery, but have different themes. Both domains are the same service, so they will share the same images.

I have already done a custom theme, all I want is to have Virginia domain be theme1 and the NC domain be theme2, with the same gallery images.

Hi,

then simply install Gallery two times.
Enter different different URLs for the Gallery itself, but enter the same URL and path to one single albums folder.
