Navigation Links in Module

I wrote a customized version of the cart module a while back and our users got used to the navigation links... They have been removed in version 2.3, I was unaware that they were going away and upgraded... Is there any way I can maintain the breadcrumbs or similar block in my module? I know I haven't provided much details, but frankly, I don't really know where to start... |

Okay, if anyone else is wondering... I've found that if you pass itemId along as a parameter, the breadcrumbs show up for that item. That helps do what I needed.
