Sort Albums Within Images (Matrix verus Siriux)

Just a quick question...

I am currently using the Siriux theme, as I really like the overall look of it. However, in my root album, I want the sub-albums to appear in order of creation date along with the images. Currently, on each page of thumbnails, I have sub-albums at the top, and images below them. I want them to appear as they do when I use the Matrix theme; that is, interspersed with the image thumbnails, everything in order of creation.

Any ideas how to accomplish this? The sort order is the same for both themes, so I am guessing it is a theme coding issue.
