Remove "Wpg2" pages link?

Howdy. I've been using WPG for a long time, and it is good, though sometimes a bit troublesome to fix when things go wrong. But that's what I get for wanting a full-featured random image plugin that integrates two very complex web apps. :)

My problem is a minor cosmetic one, but I'd like to remove the "Wpg2" link that is now under my Pages sidebar link list. I just upgraded from 3.0.6 to 3.0.7, and suddenly it appeared there. My site is at http://www.ilikelinux.com/ . I looked through the various WPG options, and came up empty. I also tried to delete it, and was denied.

Also, even if I have to keep the Wpg2 link, shouldn't it be "Wpg3", at least? ;)

WP admin, manage, pages, Edit the WPG2 Page change to unpublished.

I don't think you are using G3 yet. You can also change the name of the page if you wish;
WP admin, manage, pages, Edit the title of the page.

I just upgraded WP to 2.7 and every time I set the WP2G page to "unpublish" and save the changes the plugin saves the pages automatically again and sets it to "published"...
Is there any way around this?
