Hi there,

I have WPG2 working just fine in my install, as well as gallery.

I have a concern before I really keep it live though, and thats with duplicate content. I guess I could block the old install (under http://jmlumpkin.com/gallery) using a robots.txt, but I was wondering if anyone has done this?

My concern is with SEO and duplicate content. Unless im missing something, you would reach your 'original' install at /gallery, but could also reach it at /wpg2 (or whatever else is used). This could cause some duplicate content issues. Am I missing something, or should I not be able to get to my old install?

This is the only thing holding me back from going live with WPG2, I guess I dont understand (and can't figure out) what's supposed to happen to the 'old' way you would access your gallery.

jmlumpkin,

You can also block access to Gallery2 standalone via a setting in the gallery2 config file which will stop a direct access but Gallery2 still requires access to display full sized images etc thus you cannot completely block access to Gallery2 directories
