G2 image chooser takes me to standalone gallery instead of my joomla embed gallery

when using the G2 image chooser I am able to add thumbnails to my articles in Joomla. The thumbnails appear correctly in the article. However, when I click on the thumbnail it takes me to the standalone gallery instead of the Joomla's gallery.

Do I have to change something in the G2 image chooser's config.php?

I resolved the issue adding the following (should have fully read the instructions from http://g2image.steffensenfamily.com/index.php?title=Joomla):

$g2ic_embedded_mode = TRUE;
$g2ic_gallery2_uri = 'http://www.domain.com/gallery2/main.php';
$g2ic_embed_uri = 'http://www.domain.com/index.php?option=com_gallery2&Itemid=85';
