First of all, this topic is about G2 Traditional Chinese localization of Gallery2 used in Taiwan. So you may have trouble letting people understand your question in Simplified Chinese.
Secondly, PHP setup is the responsibility of your hosting service. One thing about the PHP setup for G2 is making sure it's got gettext functions in it. Refer to PHP setup document of your host platform on php.net.

我不裝 XAMPP 或 MAMP 等任何套件，一個 OS 上不需要兩套 Apache、兩套 PHP....
因此我只要 gettext for Mac OS X 是不可能的。
所以想辦法直接關掉 Gallery2 的 gettext 是最簡單的辦法，目前只有 Gallery2 需要 gettext，其他都不需要，包括 Joomla, XOOPS, phpBB....

If you just flat out refuse to get gettext support in your PHP installation, then Gallery2 is not for you. There's no other way around it. The whole localizaton function in G2 is built upon gettext and I don't think there's any plan to replace it.
The built-in PHP in OS X is an older version, and lacks a lot of other functions anyway. Replacing it with a more capable build only makes more sense. But it's your host, you decide.
Also. I am probably one of the only few who understand Chinese here and I don't visit this forum that often. So please write in English if possible so you get a better chance of having someone answering it.

剛剛發表了Gallery 2.2.3 Security Fix Release，但問題是依舊必須使用gettext！
請問有沒有辦法強制關閉Gallery 2對gettext的支援？
也就是說我的PHP上不支援gettext，仍舊可以把Gallery2強制設定在繁體中文語系？
