tag multiple images at once?

I have a custom field "Location", which is the City, State where a photo was taken.

Let's say I upload 100 photos taken in Springfield, MA. Is there any way to tag all of them at once? Or must I really go through one by one in the add-captions screen pasting that in?

If there isn't, there certainly should be a way to apply a property change to multiple photos...
