Upgrading from 2.2 to 2.3 - not passing step 2

- You can copy and paste a lot of the required information from "Site Admin" -> "Maintenance" -> "System Information" if your G2 is up and running.

I'm just trying to upgrade from 2.2 to 2.3 and when I get to the system checks step I get the following error:

FastCGI Error
The FastCGI Handler was unable to process the request.

Error Details:

* The FastCGI process exceeded configured activity timeout
* Error Number: 258 (0x80070102).
* Error Description: The wait operation timed out.

HTTP Error 500 - Server Error.
Internet Information Services (IIS)

I don't know how to fix this and my site is down now.
