Hello All, I've used gallery and drupal in combination in the past, though I haven't ventured much past the vanilla installs of either. I have a new project I'm starting and wanted to know if this was even possible, or if I should focus my search elsewhere, or start from scratch. I would like each user to have a gallery for themselves. Upon registration I would want to create a default album, lets call it "projects". Myself and other site admins plan to make a blog style post and would like people to be able to reply with a comment, but also from that comment form, upload an image to their own "projects" album, as well as embed the thumbnail of the uploaded image into the comment. Essentially, I want to streamline the process of embeding an image into a comment so a user doesn't have to goto their gallery first, upload to there, get the image url and then make a post with an image. Any guidance would be fantastic! Thank you very much. Gallery is a great project, I hope it can get this job done for me! |

Upload, post, include thumbnail, all in one go? Sounds pretty specialised to me. I doubt if anything will do this out-of-the-box.

Oh, yeah it would be specialized for sure! I just didn't know if either using the Gallery API or something else it would even be feasible or if I should try some other approaches.
