Does the google maps module allow you to set a "destination" for your pictures and then the map align with the picture you are viewing. I've searched through the forums but can't find much on what it does. Mine is just showing a picture of amsterdam. Figured it was just test data...

It's test data. That's the site of one of the Gallery team meetups :-) We'll improve that.
