Validated? Yes. Integrated Gallery2? No

Yesterday I successfully installed the WPG2 with the latest (2.3) Galler and the latest (2.7.1) WordPress. It worked fine within my WordPress. I was stupid enough though, to try to move Gallery to a new folder on my website. Very simple: from /skifotos to /fotos. To do this, I followed the steps in the FAQ carefully. This is where the trouble started. After the move, the gallery showed a blank page and didn't work anymore. I think this is because I didn't 'deactivate' WPG2 prior to moving. I know, it's stupid, but it happened. So, I thought, lets reinstall everything. I deleted the Gallery2, installed it into the new subfolder and activated and validated WPG2 again. Everything looked fine (even the validating) until I wanted to view my integrated Gallery; it wasn't integrated. The page is made in Wordpress, but that's it. It doesn't login users, it doesn't show the WordPress looks, it just doesn't look like it's integrated at all. It works fine standalone, but I need the lovely WPG2 plugin! What went wrong here? How can I resolve this issue? I'm quite a big fan of google and I must say that Gallery has a superb huge support wiki but even those 2 can't help me out. I need some expert help here! |

Well, I just reinstalled the whole freaking website (Wordpress + Gallery + WPG2 and everything else). It was quite a job but it works now luckily. I really don't know what happened.

Who is hosting your website? The reason I ask is because I can not for the life of me get this damn thing working on 1and1 and now I am starting to think the problem is on their end of things.

No, I'm on a Dutch host. I've heard about the problems on 1on1 before but you could probably find that on Google.
