Gallery 2.2.5-->2.3 Installation Problems with Slideshow Module

I just upped 2.3 and started the install. Everything was fine until I got to installing/updating the modules. When it got to the Slideshow Applet, it just started to stall and hang and do nothing. I quit my browser, reuploaded the mods and now when I go to http://www.bordwayphotography.net/gallery/ I get this message with no template:

Configuration Error: Missing Theme
Missing Theme

This album is configured to use the matrix theme, but it is either inactive, not installed, or incompatible. To fix this problem you can either choose a new theme for this album or install or activate this theme.

I reupped all the themes but nothing changed. Still can't get any themes to show up although I can see my past album if I click on Choose a new theme link. So at least the DB seems to be OK. But how can I get everything else back?
