Can someone tell me if they have installed a PHP accellerator on a hosted Godaddy plan (non-dedicated server)? If so, which accellerator and was it worth it. I would like to speed up my G2 and feel the PHP accellerator may help. |

Non-dedicated as in shared hosting? I seriously doubt it. You're most likely going to need root access to the server. I can't imagine any hosting provider allowing anyone to install or use php extensions that they don't have on their servers, let alone tested as it could easily compromise the server for all users on the server.

I am on the shared plan. I thought there was something I could use, just can't remember what it was.
