I would use a colorpack to change colors as some more than just all black would not work ( text needs to a lighter than black an well as other items).
You can edit the template file to remove the text you don't want.

Thanks for the feedback. I should have said I installed the color packs and selected black. However, I don't like the black and gray combo. I would like all the gray to be changed to black. From what I can see all the text is either gray or white so it will show when all black.
