Extensis Portweb to Gallery 2

We're running Gallery 2 on IIS. Has anyone migrated Extensis over to Gallery 2?

I guess the closest that I could find is:
http://codex.gallery2.org/Downloads:Galleryadd.pl_NG It could be adapted to I guess. Not that I would know how.

I guess one way would be to install G1 add items with a csv file for titles/descriptions and then migrate to G2.
