Images uploaded with Gallery Remote appear black

This is a wierd one. Images uploaded directly into my gallery appear fine, however if I use the Gallery Remote package - images with landscape aspect are totally black. Images with portrait aspect are fine, so I was suspecting the problem is the image toolkit used with Gallery Remote Gallery Remote is v1.5.1-b43 running on Mac OS X v10.5.6 and ImageMagic is 6.5.0.
