"edit photo" pull down menu fails

"edit photo" pull down menu in the album view fails intermittently. Seleting an opton seems to be completely ignored. Seems to happen most often using my browser of choice Chimera Navigator.

When you say "fails" you mean that it doesn't bring up the popup window? Or the window appears but has an error in it?

The act of bringing up the popup window is all client-side javascript. So if that's failing then it's a bug in your browser.

it fails to bring up a new window. It probably is chimera's fault. Though it seems I can still get popups from other sites. Oh well, I'll just use explorer when I'm uploading to gallery.

I have the same problem with Gallery 1.4.4 and Mozilla 1.7.1. The pulldown menu is fully populated, but when any option is clicked, nothing happens except for the collapsed pulldown text reverting to <<Edit Photo>>.

Earlier versions of Gallery worked fine with Mozilla.

While I too am able to use IE as a workaround, that exposes me to all the myriad of IE problems. I'm probably going to get a rash just thinking about those!
