Can only add 1 photo when using Gallery2 Image Chooser

This used to work well till I upgraded everything to the latest and greatest..... The path to my Gallery2 album folder changed and all my imageIDs changed too so I have to re-attach all the photos.... Which is fine...

Except...

I want to insert 3 or 4 thumbnails into my wordpress post with each thumbnail linking to the parent album in question. However no matter how many photos I select in the Image Chooser it only ever adds the first one from the album.

Can anyone help with this?
