Can't connect to gallery from gallery remote. Used to be able to, upgraded skins and stopped working. Any thoughts/help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm pretty sure that this error means that PHP doesn't allow file uploads. You should enable file uploads in php.ini.

Can you upload images from the web 'add photos' page?

Okay, that was one problem solved, and a new to come...

Before I can support you, I must make sure your problem is indeed with gallery remote, rather than your Gallery install. The previous problem was a Gallery configuration problem, for example, and I'm not as well equiped as other forums to help you with those.

Please test that you can successfully upload pictures using the 'add photo' button onn Gallery (ie, without using Gallery Remote at all).

If you get 'Unable to make thumbnail(0)', also put Gallery into debug mode (config wizard, step 2) and post the verbose error..

This is definitely not a Gallery Remote problem then. I can either move this topic to the Gallery Troubleshooting forum, or you can seek help there also, and if you're nice report the results here .

I had the Error: Unable to make thumbnail (0) error too with 1.4pl1 (running under Linux, php 4.3.0) but it was my mistake(

didn't put the starting / before the path home/blabla/netpbm;-)

Maybe you can check this too, though I hope you're not as stupid as I am (after a dozend gallery installations..... *bg*)
