I used the multiroot environment to create a new multiview1.php file for the virtual album. Problem is that when i call the php file, it shows the correct album, but no link is working. I get 404 errors.
The URLs created are like: multiview1.php?g2ItemId=34, but multiview1.php does not support these variables. Only main.php does. What am i doing wrong?

Ah! I have exactly the same problem. If I access the album in the normal way (through normal gallery root or direct url) no problem. If I access via the .php file the multiroot module created code for I see the album but cannot access any items. Does this have something to do with the .htaccess file. I tried replacing that but then nothing works. The documentation is completely silent on what one is supposd to do with the .htaccess file.

This would be so great to have (PLEEASE) someone shed some light. We would be most grateful.

Normal gallery access to album in question:
www.signsoflife.co.za/gallery2/public/industrial

Multiroot generated access
www.signsoflife.co.za/gallery2/public.php

Better yet create your own embedded page, you can choose the default album, limit the breadcrumb root, the same as multiroot only better.
Add your own header/footer.
Easy tool available to help.
Create as many as you like, have many different views of the same gallery.
