I really don't know what I'm doing. I have a domain running php nuke and I'm desperately trying to get some sort of photo gallery. Gallery 3 sounded like what I want. I spent a long time trying to figure out how to use my ftp access to upload the files. I enter www.mydomain.com/gallery and get the parent directory to the file gallery3. I don't know how to eliminate the first gallery folder so it goes directly to the gallery... Secondly, when I do click on the gallery3 folder, I get, "Gallery requires PHP 5.2.3 or newer." I have no clue how to change my website over to PHP 5.2.3 or newer. I feel like I'm maybe tackling something beyond my capabilities, but I feel I am close to getting this to run and just need some friendly help. Like I said in the beginning, I already know that I don't know what I'm doing, so please don't respond rudely. I just need help. Thank you, Josh.

For that you'll need to contact your host.

Have you tried installing G2? G3 isn't ready for prime time yet. It's still in Beta and it sounds like that's probably not the status of a program you'd want to use.

I deleted G3 and installed G2. It is working wonderfully and I'm very happy.

Great to hear! Yes, G2 is a great product. We just think G3 is going to be much better (for most people)
