Better SEO support?

Is it possible to implement a custom default image title and image alt tag <img src="image1.jpg" alt="This is my alt tag" title="This is my title tag"> for a gallery folder or upload sequence? I tend to upload a folders worth of images at a time, usually on a specific topic (a band perhaps) and would like the have all the image alts and title be something specific, such as the band name, location, etc.

Also the same for the images page meta tags for description and keywords. And perhaps the overal thumbnail view of the folder as well have defined meta keywords and description (think this is already there).

I find this is a big problem for me in getting my images in google search. I publish lots of bands and other club events and find it extremely difficult to get google to pick up my images..
