Hello, I really love the slideshow applet, particularly its ability to do recursive shows (very useful considering how my photo site, http://pix.alaporte.net/pub, is set-up. There's just one option I wish the applet provided: the ability to turn off the overlay (with the semi-transparent stop and arrow icons) that appears whenever one manually moves from picture to picture using the arrow keys. Further development on G2 is very most likely not going to happen. At least no new features.
