Special characters in album name

Hi all,

I stumbled upon the following "error": After i created an album "vakantie italië 2009" everything seemed to work fine, until i opened the album and no images were shown.

a quick check showed me the image links to http://gallery3.domainname.eu/var/albums/Vakantie_Itali%C3%AB_2009/imagename.jpg which seems to be ok. google shows me %C3%AB is the equivalent of ë

After i renamed the folder (through the gallery3 interface) to "vakantie_italie_2009" the images work just fine.

Now i'n not sure this is a bug or a feature. In my opinion (as spaces are also replaced by underscores) the automatic folder name generator should also flatten special characters.

Should i report this as a bug?

Thanks, i searched the forum for character and special. but that didn't return any results.
