Hello,

i got some problems with GR. the selection for cropping needs quite a lot of time and slow downs the whole workflow...
this behavior is new for me since i have an ati graphics card (radeon 4870).

catalyst, GR, JRE, Imagemagick are up to date.

OS: Windows XP-32 SP3
HW: C2D 8400 3,00 GHz, 4 GB RAM

because my english is not very good, i made a video where you can take a look on the problem.

It seems, that java is used for cropping the picture - shouldnt that be imagemagick ?

It's some weird ATI-Issue...

i uninstalled the graphic card drivers, and tried it again:

After installing Catalyst 9.7 => same problem as above

Some sort of a workaround:

reducing gpu hardware acceleration in windows control panel

GR works now after disabling of all directdraw, direct3d, drawing and cursor acceleration functions
