edit button on Guest page

the edit button is located on the bottom left of the page and is available to guest. Is there a way to remove it so that option is not available to guest? |

Are you developing a custom theme? You posted in the 'Theme Development' section so I am a bit confused.
I don't understand the this 'guest page'. A better explanation with a url will help.

This is why we ask: FAQ: What information is required when I ask for help in the forums?
I have no idea what version of Gallery your using, what theme or anything like that.
To me, it sounds like Siriux, but I know for a fact it does not do that by default. Try clearing your browser's cache.

So sorry I am beginner just as you once were. I'm sorry for any confusion I caused.
gallery 2.3/ www.voltaclub.org/gallery template - carbon
yesterday the edit button was located on the bottom left of each album page but only in the user view- Today it is not there. I did clear my browser's cache and it didn't help.
I will make sure i read the FAQ.

I'm still confused. Can you sow a screen capture. I see nothing about a edit button located on the bottom left of each album page.
If you are talking about the 'GuestPreview' switch at the bottom....only the admin will see this. Log out and you will see what the 'guest' sees.
