Hi there guys... I'm absolutely loving the new Gallery3. I'm going to copy my pics over from G2 once I've played around with the new platform and some more modules come out... The two features I badly want are the ability to port my photos over into Facebook, and GPS tagging. Are there plans to build these into the release version or perhaps a module in the pipeline? |

@ Facebook: I have not heard of any development on this front, but if it is popular somebody will come out of the woodwork to work on it.
@GPS tagging: There is a module already for adding locations to Tags and then they are shown on a google map. There is also a few feature requests for extracting GPS locations from the EXIF data in the photo, then show them on a map.

Oh Yes!!! This is the module I am most looking forward too! (The Facebook one I mean...) I'm running a G2 and a G3 gallery in parallel such that I can make use of the Import-from-G2 Facebook plugin. Can't wait!
The guy who wrote the said plugin has not replied to any of my messages requesting a G3 version. Here's hoping some brilliant mind is going to put the cherry on G3. (Ok I'll stop this disguasting behavior now) ;)
