Help needed. How to put login link into shadowbox popup?

Ok, I am back and resuming my work on the theme here http://photo.dragonsoft.us.
As I mentioned earlier I am trying to be minimalistic with the use of some features of the default theme (CSS/JS).

As a general approach, I am trying to use Shadowbox JS script where possible to replace some of the gallery 3 JS functionality.

So far so good, but I need a little help with puting login AJAX link inside Shadowbox popup. (See [Login 2] link in the main content)
As you can see it is displayed properly (with a little hack to wrap ajax output into proper HTML page). Question is properly react to events

Any ideas?
