Plans for Wordpress integration?

Are there currently any plans for providing an officially supported WordPress plugin for Gallery3 ?

It would be a very strong team to combine the two in a way similar to WPG2 did for Gallery2, and given Gallery3's cleanup it would seem as such a bridge would in fact be easier, although it would have to be started from scratch?

Are there any programmers already looking into this, or perhaps a wiki in place to discuss ideas and design strategies to maximise the potential of Gallery3?

Such a wiki could also be great to announce potential bounties for making it happen :-)

I definitely am interested in something like this, as well.

Also, someone posted a notice saying that they are planning to make buddypress work with gallery3.

There is plans but with the limited resources it might take some time.
