How to get a last update/news list/page for Gallery2 ??

Hi all,

recently I have managed to install Gallery2 for getting a photo server for my friends and me. It is just the Gallery package wich is used, no Webpage or CMS system covers it.

All works fine, but there is one thing which my friends and me are missing desperately:

There seems to be no "News page" or "Last updates/changes page". If a member has uploaded new fotos or created a new album, and then other members logging in, they have no glue about these changes and there is no section /page (ideally the enty page), which can tell them about the latest news.

Is there a way to achieve this without programming (I am not a developer, nor a Linux specialist).

You recently installed? Gallery version = 2.2.4 core 1.2.0.6
2.2.6 was the last iteration of the 2.2.x line
there have been many security updates and fixes since 2.2.4
consider upgrading to 2.3

But to answer your question the dynamic albums module would supply the latest and html page or links in the head would allow for the additions of the links

2.3 was released August 2008

2.2.4 was release December 2007

:)

The version you have has known security holes in it.
