G'day, I recently installed version 2.3 of Gallery on to my webserver hosting.
Everything went fine, no errors or anything like that and I can log in no worries.
However, when I log in and go to Site Admin and want to configure the included modules, I see no possibility to edit them.

I have checked the CHMOD of all files op the server and all are set to either properly. I think.

I have updated the Administrator Repository and all modules show up but when I click one of them, for instance registration I end up in the properties of my own account.
During installation the only thing I altered was the name "ADMIN" into my own name.
Now I am beginning to wonder whether that has anything to do with this.

Can someone here help me out, please?
Enclosed a screenshot.

Yes I have now but this is far to extensive for me..Beyond my knowledge.
I did this:
Copied the link as accordingly but to no avail.

<script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.vissenincanada.nl/gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.CombinedJavascript&;g2_key=7d3657687c5594c0d77454dd61444271"></script>

All that shows up is a search page....Somehow this is not working for me..

I am not getting any JavaScript errors, but I simply can not activate, add, alter, configure or even de-activate any modules in the Admin mode.
I have even created another user, in admin mode, added this user to the admin group but same result.

Surely there must be an explanation for this....

Also, another problem occurs now..
Upon deleting a language for instance I get the following message:

Failed to delete the locale directory for ar. and right below that :

1 language pack deleted.

:eek

the url would be:
http://www.vissenincanada.nl/gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.CombinedJavascript&g2_key=7d3657687c5594c0d77454dd61444271

I get a blank page for this so I suspect a configuration issue on the server.
Please send login info via private message ( Write to author )

Yes.
Your server is not delivering the combined JavaScript files.
See the thread the nivekiam suggested. Ask you host if you have difficulty with the suggestions.

Alright...Just an update.
I installed the embedded version of Plesk. This version does not seem to work properly so it seems.

I downloaded the complete version, upped it to the web server and ran the install.
Everything works properly now...On the exact same server...

So,shoot me dead. :P .I am completely flabbergasted.http://www.50ways.nl/galtest

Is it possible to fix the Plesk version and maintain the database or do I need to a complete re-install?
Start from scratch again....

I know nothing about Plesk, so my suggestion is to just overwrite that version with the complete version you downloaded. Then run the upgrader if it needs.
We have zero control over Plesk and other 4th party 1-click installers.

Hmm...Okay Dave,Thanks for your feedback.
Sounds to me that it would be easier and by far more faster to delete the Plesk version and to re-install the whole package with the download version.
Strange though that Plesk (web server hosting software)features an inadequate version of this great album software.
I'll have one more look, see what my hoster says and if all else fails......I'll re-install the f****** lot...Another nights work... Sh**

Again, thanks for you effort, input and replies.
