The following information is required to get an answer:
Get this information from the PHP diagnostic (in the configuration wizard).
Gallery URL (optional but very useful):
Gallery version: 1.5.10
Apache version:?
PHP version (don't just say PHP 4, please): 5.2.9
Graphics Toolkit:?
Operating system: windows xp
Web browser/version (if applicable):

I would like to know how to configure the gallery to be able to view videos within the album? The only way to view a video is when you click on it, it automatically wants to download to your computer. Is there a setting to have it play within the browser window?

Thanks...

Is there a way to upgrade from Gallery 1.5.10 to G2 or G3? If upgrade is the right word...

Do they support other types of video or just flash video? Such as, wmv, mpeg, mpg, avi, etc.?

Thanks...

G3 is flash only at the moment. G2 I believe supports other video formats, but I don't do video.

FAQ: Can I update from G1 -> G2?

That's easy step-by-step instructions for G1 to G2. To go to G3, you'd need to first go to G2, then use the G2 import module that's in G3.

I was doing some checking on the Feature comparison list, and supposedly Gallery 1 is supposed to have an Embedded Movie Player. But it doesn't seem to work, when I click on the video I get a popup box asking me where to save the video, or whatever those save file boxes say...
