error adding watermark to album on v 1.6

I am using Galery V1.6 which has been supplied by my domain host.
I keep getting the following error when trying to add a watermark to an album or indavidual photo

"opendir(C:\Proof) [function.opendir]: failed to open dir: No such file or directory in /home/sites/shanahan21.co.uk/public_html/gallery/layout/watermarkform.inc on line 67"

"The requested URL /gallery/popups/function.opendir was not found on this server."

Hello,

Gallery 1.6 was never finally released. So you have a beta version running.
But thats not the problem.

Your Gallery is configured to into the folder: C:\Proof
for watermarks. But this folder seems not to exist...

I can browse to the folder on the C drive?

I don't know.

Its the C Drive on th webserver. Ask your hoster.

I have a similar problem.
I can see my watermark in the preview, but after setting it, it doesn't appear on the pictures in my gallery.
Any ideas?

Hello BEMS,

please open your own thread.

Also please enable debug mode and post the output thats created when adding the watermark.

Ah, i strongly assume you use Gallery 1.x, right?
