How do I get my tool added to the Other Clients wiki page: http://codex.gallery2.org/Other_Clients? My new project WindowsLive2Gallery is for publishing photos from Windows Live Photo Gallery (WLPG) to Gallery2. The project page is here: http://winlive2gallery.sourceforge.net |

Create an account for yourself (there's a Login/Create account link at the top of every Gallery wiki page), and add the details for your client yourself.
That's the whole point of it being a wiki.

Well the trouble is that I already have an account which I'm using to post messages to this forum. Even when I'm signed in and I try to edit the source of the wiki page it says the following:
You do not have permission to edit pages, for the following reason:
The action you have requested is limited to users in the group Users.
I have a feeling that I'm missing something really trivial. Any ideas?

They're different systems, so you need a separate account for each (sorry, don't know the reasons for that myself).
I.e. your Forums account is different from the Gallery Codex account you need to create to edit the wiki pages.
You're nearly there.

Could you kindly copy & paste a link to that wiki account signup page? For the life of me I can't seem to be able to locate where to create the account in the wiki.
Thanks!

It's at the top of each Codex page titled "login/create account"...
I think this is the right link:

Conor, you rock! I was able to get an account created and edit the wiki from that link. Thank you...I appreciate it.

No worries.
Good luck with your Gallery client. I've had fun developing mine. Although I'm trying to ignore the fact that I'm going to have rewrite large chunks of it to support G3 when that's feasible...

Yeah me too. Although I'm hoping that the remote API will be more standardized like ATOM or WSDL so that I won't have to do much HTTP parsing.
Cheers!
