Hi, I know I am not supposed to compare Gallery2 with Gallery3, but one of the things I really liked about Gallery2 was the possibility to use a picture as the album cover that is not part of the gallery itself. Are there plans to support this in Gallery3? I noticed that the album covers are saved as separate files in the thumbs directory, so I am guessing it would 'only' need an admin function to upload the picture. Keep up the good work! |

That is a separate module in G2 that will also need to be a separate module in G3 that someone writes.

I never realized it was a separate module. I wish I had the skill to develop the module myself, but unfortunately...

I'm sure it'll happen, just not right away. Thumbnail Manager is the module for G2:
