The following information is required to get an answer:
Get this information from the PHP diagnostic (in the configuration wizard).
Gallery URL (optional but very useful): http://lbcustomphotography.com/gallery
Gallery version: 1.5.10
Apache version: 2.2.11
PHP version: 5.2.9
Graphics Toolkit: ImageMagick 6.5.4-10 -- I also tried netpbm
Operating system: Linux
Web browser/version (if applicable): I.E. 8

Thumbnails do not show up. The larger image show up when click on the missing Thumbnail message: "No Thumbnail"

I got my Hosting company's tech's involved and they said there were bugs in this version but they didn't specify. For the thumbnail problem, the techs corrected it temporarily, but then it happened again.

I also had trouble no the initial login after installation but they help me with that.
Here's what they said:
for the login part problem server technician said that "I had to whitelist a rule that was being blocked by mod_security".

I am not looking for a solution, but I am just reporting this as a courtesy. Maybe this can help you check out some problems with this version of Gallery 1.5.10

You made a typo during install.

edit config.php for the proper location or start over.

That typo was just in the Properties of one album--I corrected it thanks to you catching it. I appreciate it.
But this does not have anything to do with not seeing the Thumbs.

Solution!
A friend of mine discovered that the Thumbnail problem was linked to my Netpbm permission settings. Once I changed the /netpbm/ to chmod 755 and then changed EVERY file inside that directory to 755, it all worked very well. The Thumbnails are showing just great.
Hope this helps anyone else out there that has a similar problem.

Peace,
