This is not so much an issue with G3 as it is with this forum being used. When ever a link is opened, it is done into the same window as its 'parent', making it impossible to see both together and easier to accidentally terminate the linked to window and losing both at the same time. If that was changed I'll stop hanging out here Let me decide if I want to open a link in a new window or tab. I hate every single website that does this. It's considered bad practice from a usability standpoint. Only those that firmly believe in and push SEO and that you should do everything in your power to keep visitors on your site seem to believe in setting the target and forcing visitors to your will. http://diveintoaccessibility.org/day_16_not_opening_new_windows.html |

It was just a query based upon my own personal preference, nothing more! Martyn T. Griffin |

right-click = your choice middle-click = open in new tab (every tabbed browser I've used) shift-click = open in new window (firefox and I'm pretty sure IE, Chrome, Opera behave this way too) ctrl-click = open in new tab (firefox for sure and probably any other tabbed browser) |
