I understand that you can download your whole Gallery to your hard drive, but once there you can't add to it as you can online.

This would be great:

If this was available as a total offline cataloging system. Like it behaves online where you'd easily be able to add photos and catergories, and be able to burn to disc.

The one thing I find phenmominal about Gallery is how customizable it is...you don't get this with offline management software such as Porfolio..well yeah, Portfolio does put out html files but they are nasty looking and you'd need to hand edit to get them looking decent.

I don't know if this is something that would be possible, but it if were available I sure would buy it! Gallery as a total imaging solution both online and offline! Yeah! That would rock!

Actually, installing gallery on your local machine would do just that? :)

Ehm, Win98.... i guess you *COULD* but i wouldn't recomend it, no. and, it's no supported either. Windows 2000 or Windows XP would work fine though.

Just to clarify, I would like to do what is mentioned here, download the gallery onto a hard drive or CD that is remote from the server. The object is to have the entire gallery viewable on a CD that I can distribute. I do not want (or need) the user to change anything. Is this possible?

If so, what would be required on my part? Simply backing up the Gallery onto a CD or is there more to it.

Love my Gallery, its the best thing I have ever seen. Keep up the great work. :P

Never mind, found it in the documentation, see what happens when you read? The more I see of this Gallery, the more I love it.

Keep up the great work!!
