Is it possible to configure Gallery to check UNIX users for

	Hi, can Gallery be configured to pick up users from /etc/passwd or /etc/shadow automatically? What I'd like to achieve is that users that are already registered as users on my system do not need to register with Gallery (and a separate password) again. Thanks! PM

	You'll have to modify the code to do that. There's a link in the User Guide to a page called "Embedding Gallery Into An Existing Community". You can create an extension to Gallery following that strategy to have it work with your OS accounts.
