Gallery 2.3 running on Apache server

I had my gallery 2.3 working with all my albums. I had set the privileges on each album to allow only registered users to view and work with them.

I went in to change the description of my main root album body text. I was asked for a password, I entered on and then it locked my main album, requiring a password. I removed the password and then all my albums were made public, anyone could seem them.

I then went back to my root album and removed all the EVERYBODY permissions. Now I can't log into my gallery with my admin ID any longer or any ID for that matter.

My Gallery 2.3 is blank now when I got to the URL:

ERROR:

OK, I was able to go into my computer's browser cache, delete it and registered sessions and after then I was able to log back into my admin account. I immediately added the EVERYBODY View All authorization back to my root album. Somehow during the five minutes before exercise of changing my root album description, accidentally setting a password for the root album, removing the password requirement, simply doing this without any further action caused Gallery2 to somehow add an "EVERYBODY View all versions" to all of my albums for no apparent reason.

So after clearning local browser cache, logging back in and restoring root album view permissions, updating the root text as I had intentionally desired, all I had to do was go into each of my albums that had previously been set up as only REGISTERED USERS for various permissions. On each album I removed the EVERYBODY view all authorization that appeared out of thin air.

All is back to normal now (I think!) or at least let's cross our fingers.
