Rebuilding thumbnails

I'd like to know if there's any way to rebuild thumbnails for only a part of a gallery? The problem I have is that I've got such a huge nomber of files in my gallery that the rebuilding process always end in a crash. Therefore, I'd like to rebuild it by albums or by page or whatever! I want to do that because there's a small amount of broken thumbnails in my gallery and I'd want to get them ok. Another way I thought about that could be perfect to fix that would be to completely delete all the stored thumbnails and have them be rebuilt as they are used but I don't know how to do that either. |

Are you putting your gallery into maintenance mode prior to rebuilding thumbnails? I have found that this helps avoid the crashing mid job when you are rebuilding your thumbnails.

Yes I put it in maintenance...

Go to the album you want to rebuild and click on Edit Album. Go to the Album tab and see the " Apply settings to existing items " section in the middle of the page. That will allow you to rebuild the thumbs (and resizes) for just that album or all sub-albums.
