Page navigation with Alphabetical names?

Hello:

First off I'm a newbie with Gallery2 and just wanted to thank everybody for their hard work on this product. This is the best image posting system I've ever seen.

But... I am trying to accomplish one thing and I can't see to figure it out. Is there a way to have the page navigation buttons display alphabetical words, instead of page numbers? For instance... instead of having the page navigation buttons say "1 2 3 4", etc, is it possible to have them show either "A-C D-F G-I", etc, or maybe even abbreviated title names? I hope that I'm explaining this correctly.

I'm using Gallery 2.3.1.
