Require captcha module upgrade...(Spambot problem)

Hello everyone...

Nearly, My gallery had a lot of spam comment. (100comment/1hr).
(In Apache log, 3~4 times GET and 1 time PUT)
But I had been enable captcha and moderate comments.

I think the spambot hacked gallery's captcha images.
Now, I use mod_security for filter and firewall block spambot IP.

Maybe captcha module's image upgrade?

That captcha plugin isn't going to be updated (most likely). However, someone did develop a recaptcha plugin for G2. You can get it here:

I just installed it and it works quite well.

You don't say? Even with ReCaptcha enabled you still got spammed?
