validated but error message remains

	I added the the wpgimagebloack template to the template directory. Voila.... the paths validated but it showed the gallery in the administrative mode. I had the gallery open in another browser in the administrative mode so I closed it. Now if I look in the WPG2 Paths, it shows that the paths have been validated but if I try to look at any of the other administrative pages, there is the error message that states Options not available until WPG2 Plugin is Validated. 	I discovered that I had turned offr the image block in the administation panel of the gallery. I turned it back on and now I am back where the paths validate. Now I have two questions. How do I go about enlarging the type and how do I get the tree to appear in the left had column. TIA TOM Live free or die
